Fissler steamer inserts are suitable for gently preparing various dishes. Especially

They can be dampened very effectively.

How does steaming work?

Steaming, also known as steam cooking, involves cooking ingredients in steam at temperatures up to 100 °C. This method of preparation preserves the natural flavor of the ingredients and largely retains vitamins, minerals, and color.

Original-Profi Collection® Steaming insert

Fissler Original-Profi Collection® Steamer Insert for the Cooking or Casserole Pot

The perforated insert fits perfectly on the cooking and casserole pot. The Lid of the pot in turn fits on the steamer insert to prevent rising steam from escaping. The liquid in the pot rises as steam through the holes in the steamer insert to the food being cooked , condenses on the Lid with the Condensate Plus function, and moistens the food as it drips back down.

Condensate Plus function

The Lids of the Fissler cooking and casserole pots feature the Condensate Plus function, which causes steam to condense on the Lid and drip back onto the food being cooked. This ensures juicier, more flavourful cooking results.

The steamer insert is available in sizes 20, 24 and 28 cm. It therefore fits perfectly in the Cooking Pots and casserole pots of the Original-Profi Collection® in the corresponding size.
